Do not want to include names, but to answer the anonymous question about what happened between me and my ex:
It was a rushed decision
We were both on a high
It was a risk, well-evaluated on my part because i was willing to look past the tremendous problems we’d face staying together after graduation
But the realisation also dawned quickly (upon him before me) that religious and background differences are too great a barrier and a future is too difficult to work towards.
So he called it quits, and i accepted that decision. At first unwillingly, but now i’m absolutely alright.
We were 2 funny people though. Running through the rain for a glass of milk tea. Breaking into restricted areas in school to explore. Studying till 6am at times. More importantly we were friends. Now we have a slightly crazy 2-month-long memory that we share.
If anything he still has a friend in me, that’s for sure. I wish him as well as i did when we were together.
As for the question about how is Yaksh doing, i checked with him he says he’s doing great!
